Eivind Junker
Legal scholar who wrote my master thesis on international regulation of climate emissions (University of Oslo, 2009). My doctoral project continued the theme of environment and governance, albeit shifting the focus in a more national direction with the thesis " Climate adaptation in land use planning" (U. of Oslo, 2017). Have also studied geography (B.Sc., Univerity College of Nord-Trøndelag), and work experience include the Norwegian Environment Agency and private law practice.
I teach legal topics, including planning and building law, employment law and general jurisprudence. Cooperate in Nord's efforts to strengthen its education in law.
I research and write about law and legal matters, especially topics related to the environment, governance and public administration. Much is related to the Norwegian Planning and building act, and how the planning system can solve complex, multi-disiplinary problems. Through education and career I have gained broad experience with related topics both in natural and social sciences, and my general research motivation is how rules and context influence each other. I cooperate with several research groups within andt the University.
