Research groups
The research group Digitization, Learning, and School Leadership works with issues and opportunities related to the use of digital learning and solutions in and for teaching and leadership in the school. The group has a clear educational research profile in addition to an emphasis on leadership, and its work is also relevant in light of university education and pedagogy.
The research group Quality in Early Childhood Education and Care, and Kindergarten Teacher Education (KIBB) is a multi-methodical, interdisciplinary research group, with an overall aim to work towards increasing quality in both Early Childhood Education and Cares (ECEC) as well as in the Kindergarten Teacher Education.
The special needs education and speech therapy research group is a research community with a particular focus on various subjects within the fields of pedagogy, special needs education, speech therapy and linguistics. It aims to strengthen and develop individual and institutional expertise.
The group studies learning in interaction in and outside of the school to develop existing expertise on the field. The group is interdisciplinary with an interest in learning as a social phenomenon.
The research group works to develop the interaction between learning and technology in higher education, upper secondary education and in professional life. The research focuses on the teaching of the teacher/instructor and the students’ learning through the use of technology in learning processes.
The research group studies different aspects in relation to research-based teacher education.
The research group is made up of members representing various disciplines and professional groups, with the common aim of centering our research on the profession, practice, and development related to kindergarten and school. The research group has partners from several universities and colleges nationally and internationally.

The group is multi- and interdisciplinary and formed around research focused on diversity, multilingualism, minority perspectives, societal sustainability, social justice in education, democracy and teacher education.
