Nord University (Faculty of Biosciences and Aquaculture) has established cooperation with the University of Veterinary Medicine in Košice in Slovakia.
As a result of this collaboration, Nord University offers a joint degree in Animal Science corresponding to the first three year of veterinary studies. Students who complete their bachelor's degree in Animal Science, are guaranteed a transfer to further veterinary studies (3 more years) at the EU-accredited veterinary studies at UVMP.
UVMP is approved and accredited by The European Association of Establishments for Veterinary Education (EAEVE). EAEVE is responsible for evaluating the European veterinary studies. The accreditation by UVMP is considered a seal of quality in Europe.
