Short studies

The study has an interactive web-based approach and consists of independent studies using our digital tools at www.birdid.no

A large degree of self-study is required in order to achieve the course's learning goals.

The study has field trips after passing the exam, and students must pass the exam to be able to participate in these. The language of instruction on the field trips is English.

Evaluation using mid-term and final surveys. Students are also encouraged to participate in the central quality surveys.

The exam is individual.

The exam is a web-based home exam and consists of bird sounds to be determined by species.

A home exam is completed in less than 1 hour.

Before the exam can be taken, the student must complete a work requirement. The work requirement consists of 10 web-based training sets in exam mode with a minimum score of 40% of the maximum score. The work requirement is like a semester assignment, and cannot be started until you have been admitted as a student and have gained access to the assignments. After the work requirement has been passed, the student has 10 days to complete the exam.It will be possible to take a new exam after three months. You have a maximum of 3 exam attempts. To take a new exam, the student must register again, in the same way. Best results will prevail.
