The technologies and tools used in the creative technologies sector have been through many years of development; having a knowledge of how and why they have been developed in such a way, enables more effective use of them. This course will develop the students’ ability to source and evaluate information relating to their practice.
This course will develop the students’ ability to source and evaluate information relating to their practice. The technologies and tools used in the creative technologies sector have been through many years of development; having a knowledge of how and why they have been developed in such a way, enables more effective use of them. Reviewing the science that underpins practice will enable justifiable decision making and encourage innovative use of hardware and software.
Restricted to students at the Bachelor studies in CG art and Animation, Games and Entertainment Technology, Film and TV production and connected study programs at our international partner institutions

On successful completion of the course, students should be able to:

  • Describe the functionality of standard tools and technologies used in the creative industries
  • Justify the selection of tools and technologies to perform a specific task
