Nursing to Acute, Chronical and Critical Ill Patients, Advanced Training and Simulation
INT2002
Intenational subject, advanced part of the 10 ect subject “nursing to patients with acute, cronical and critical illness”.
The course focuses on the nurse’s health promoting, reventive, treating, rehabilitating, teaching, guiding and soothing function, with high fidelity simulation as learning method through realistic cases. The learning situation is seated at campus with high technology and skilled scientific nurses in a safe environment.
Entrance qualification due to the international semester offered in bachelor in nursing.
Language requirements: B1 in English.
No tuition fees. Semester fees and cost of course literature apply.
Practical skills and simulation
Compulsory
Practical assignments, simulation, group activities.
Evaluation using mid-term and final surveys. Students are also encouraged to participate in the central quality surveys.
Reflection paper in 1500 words, describing experience of the subjects, and how to use this in the field of nursing.
Passed the subjects:
- Anatomy, physiology and biochemistry.
- Pathology
- Basic nursing
- Clinical placement medicine and/or surgical department
