Practical Studies Abroad in Veterinary Nursing
PRA2000
The course consists of a 12-week internship in a relevant company or educational institution abroad. The internship is carried out in a location that is recognized by a study programme abroad, such as Erasmus+ or North2North.
Only for Bachelor in veterinary nursing. The modules DYR2003, BI242 and PRA2024 need to be completed before entering. The student need to master the native language or english suffiently. The receiving clinics may apply their own procedures of before accepting a student.
Knowledge:
- knows the methods and procedures applied in the clinic
- knows the strategies of the clinic
Skills:
- knows how to apply priory gained knowledge in a new clinic
General competence:
- through iniative and activities gains new experience in veterinary nursing
The student will cover travel and accomodation expences. The expences may vary from country to country. The student can apply for a scholarship from the Erasmus+ programme.
Elective course for Bachelor in Veterinary Nursing only.
Mandatory seminars prior to the placement.
