Practical Real Estate Agency 2

The course provides a further introduction to real estate in practice, including brokerage of large real estate projects, brokering commercial properties and agricultural properties, internal control / quality assurance, financing of real estate projects and rental brokerage. One or more guest lectures from real estate business actors will be held.

On successful completion of the course the students should:

Knowledge:

  • Have increased knowledge about implementation of a real estate commission.
  • Understand the various phases and special challenges associated with project mediation.
  • Understand the various phases and special challenges related to business brokering.
  • Understand the various phases and special challenges associated with other types of real estate, including agricultural properties and rental brokerage.
  • Have basic knowledge of the specific requirements for internal control of estate agency

Skills

  • Be able to apply scientific knowledge to practical and theoretical issues related to implementation of all types of real estate contracts and the establishment / operation of real estate enterprises.
Paid semester fee and syllabus literature. It is also required that students have a laptop at their disposal.
Compulsory
Lectures, group work, fieldwork.
The study programme is evaluated annually by students by way of course evaluation studies. These evaluations are included in the university's quality assurance system.
