The course is offered in Norwegian, and will also be offered in English in some semesters. The course in Norwegian has code PED6010 and the course in English has the code PED6013.

Read more about how to apply and the requirements that apply under "Admission requirements".

This programme is reserved for academic staff and doctoral research fellows at Nord University who wish to develop their teaching and supervision expertise. Having a Master’s degree is a formal minimum requirement. As the programme is practice-oriented and aims to develop you as a teacher, it is a requirement that you have your own teaching/supervison while the course is in progress. If you do not have your own teaching, you must make sure that you have access to teach/supervise, for example through a colleagues students.

For the PED6010 course (Norwegian): Participants must be fluent in Norwegian (or a Scandinavian language; Swedish, Danish). Lectures are held in Norwegian, but those attending may use English when speaking and writing.

For the PED6013 course (English): Those attending must be fluent in English. Lectures are held in English, but those attending may use Norwegian (or a Scandinavian language: Swedish, Danish) when writing.

All employees who are relevant for the course must apply for admission by the application deadline, through EVUweb. You should use Feide or MinID for logging in to EVUweb. The list of applicants is then shared with the Faculty's management, which nominates the applicants on the basis of the places available at the Faculty. A waiting list will be drawn up if the Faculty has more applicants than places.

Please note that the course requires compulsory attendance and it must be approved in order to take the exam, so it is important that you and your manager have cleared your work schedule if you are going to apply for University Pedagogy (UNIPED).
