I am a postdoctoral fellow with a motivation for teaching, research, and the dissemination of knowledge. I am a part of the Division of Innovation and Entrepreneurship and the Engage - Centre for Engaged Education through Entrepreneurship at Nord University.

My academic expertise lies in the area of entrepreneurship. I have experience in teaching, quantitative research, literature review, and business ownership.

I hold a Ph.D. in Business from the Nord University Business School. My PhD explored alternative entry modes of business ownership associations with the characteristics of entrepreneurs and their businesses, as well as with business owners’ subsequent entrepreneurial careers. The thesis was titled 'Hybrid Entrepreneurship and Staged Entry into Self-employment.'

I obtained a bachelor's degree in Business and Administration from institutions in Norway and Russia and a master's degree in Economics and Project Management from the University of Agder, which also included an exchange semester at Leeds Beckett University in Leeds, England. During my master's studies, I was selected as one of the 15 students in Agder to participate in TalentJakten 2013/2014, where I won a network-building competition.

I am currently responsible for ENT5008 Social and Sustainable Entrepreneurship.

My research interests include staged entry into self-employment, individuals’ career trajectories, entrepreneurship education, and entrepreneurs and their businesses.
