Nezihat Bakar-Langeland

I am Ph.D. Candidate in Sociology since september 2021. My Ph.D. project engages in affective experiences of racism and discrimination. I am particularly interested in experiences of women with Muslim background. 

Before I got started with my Ph.D. I worked as an adviser at Center for Diversity and Equality, with both project management and also research work such as the EEA International Research Project- Domestic Violence against Women together with Bulgaria, and Knowledge overview of the municipalities' crisis center services in Norway, financed by Norwegian Directorate for Children, Youth and Family Affairs (Bufdir). I also arranged Regional Dialogue Meetings about Racism, Discrimination, and Hateful Speeches, financed by the Directorate of Culture and Gender Equality.
