Jeg er utdannet biolog fra Tyskland med en doktorgrad fra Nord Universitet i biologidaktikk og brenner både for faglige spørsmål og dets formidling innen lærerutdanningen.
I am a biologist educated in Germany with a PhD from Nord University in biology education and am therefore equally intrigued by the discipline as well as its education for teacher students.

Jeg er involvert i undervisningen, veiledningen og praksisbesøk til MAGLU studenter på 1. , 2. og 4. året. Jeg underviser både i naturfagdidaktikk og ulike temaer innen fysiologi og bærekraft. 
I am involved in teaching, supervising and visiting science teacher students in their school praxis in their 1., 2 and 4th year. I mostly teach science education, but also different themes within phsyiology and sustainability.

I am interested in exploring how "abstract" biologic themes, such as biological processes in cells, can be made more accessible to students and teachers, that is translated to content and learning material which enhances students' understanding.

Currently, I am in a PostDoc position financed by the Norwegian Research Council. In an interdisciplinary team, we investigate content and social organisation of STEM education in out-of-school classrooms.
