University of Western Brittany - Brest SEA-EU

University of Western Brittany, known as UBO Brest, is in the north-western coast of France, in Brittany. It is a multi-campus university, with the main campus located in the city of Brest - approximately a 3.5-hour train ride from Paris. There are 23 000 students attending the university, including more than 2000 international students and 390 exchange students. This university is part of the European university alliance SEA-EU. This alliance consists of 9 universities, including Nord University, joint together by their marine and maritime profiles.

    Students must have completed one year of university level studies, equivalent to 60 ECTS.

    English and French B2

  • Exchange students with non-EU/EEA/Swiss nationality are required to obtain a student visa prior to arriving to France. It is recommended to choose the “visa long séjour valant titre de séjour (VLS-TS) mobility” since this kind of visa is much more flexible than the “Visa long séjour temporaire (VLS-T)” which is not renewable.
