Bakgrunn: Dr. rer. nat. fra Universitet i Oldenburg, Tyskland (2005) Jeg arbeidet som postdoc ved Senckenberg Institute i Tyskland og ved Universitetet i Groningen i Nederlande på flere forskningsprosjekter innenfor marinøkologi, antropogen påvirkning på benthossystemer og økosystemforvaltning.
Forskining min er fokusert på: bentos økologi, bentiske næringsnett, modellering av utbredelse, effekter av klimaendringers på bentos, antropogen påvirkning på marine økosystem, meroplankton, bærekraftig økosystemforvaltning
