- Direktør for digitalisering og infrastruktur rapporterer til rektor og er en del av rektors ledergruppe. Direktøren utøver innen sitt ansvarsområde oppgaver på rektors vegne.
- Direktør har det overordnede ansvaret for universitetets satsning på digitalisering, og skal bidra til å understøtte institusjonens videre utvikling ved hjelp av teknologi.
- Direktør har også det samlede forvaltnings- og utviklingsansvar for den bygningsmessige infrastrukturen.
- Avdeling for digitalisering og infrastruktur er organisert med to underliggende enheter ledet av eiendomssjef og digitaliserings- og IKT-sjef. Samlet er det vel 140 ansatte i avdelingen.
