Forskningsinteresser // Research interests
My research interest include fish nutrition, optimising use of novel feed ingredients, feed manufacturing technology and effect of processing on nutritional and physical quality of feed. I have carried out research with extrusion processing technology and alternative feed manufacturing technologies, and studied the effect on feed utilization. More recently my research is mainly focusing on novel feed ingredients and effect on fish health and utilization of the feed. The main fish species I have been working with is Atlantic salmon, but also other fish species such as Wolffish and Lumpfish are used as models in my research.
