Centre for Welfare Innovation

The Centre for Welfare Innovation is to be a beacon within the research and development of welfare innovation.

The main purpose of the centre is to contribute to the development of new practices and new services in the best interest of the users and society.

The centre will stimulate research activity on a national and international level and developmental work for better welfare services regionally and nationally.

The centre will facilitate, develop, participate in, and carry out innovation projects, as well as work to facilitate a close relationship with the practical field.

The centre is established, led, and operated by the Faculty of Social Sciences at Nord University, in cooperation with Nord University's other faculties and the Nordland Research Institute.
