University Library Bodø

You can find guides and resources for literature searching, referencing and academic writing in Canvas​. (Feide sign-in). We also offer ​​​​one-on-one guidance in literature searching, referencing and EndNote: Book guidance here​.

The University Library has literature that covers the subjects that are researched and taught in Bodø.​ We also have at least one copy of each book that is a part of the syllabus. The library is divided over three floors. The literature is located in the basement and the first floor. The second floor is a study area with workplaces. The second floor also has a quiet reading room and group rooms. You can book a group room in TimeEdit.

The University Library in Bodø has extended opening hours, which means students and employees has access to the library outside of our serviced opening hours. View the extended opening hours.​​​​​

The library has printers for printing/copying/scanning. The printers can only be used with student/employee-cards. PCs that require log-in are connected to the printers. Printing can also be done from mobile units (for example your personal laptop or smartphone). Read more about printing.

There are search computers in the library. These computers can be used without logging in and are available for everyone. You can do searches in the library search system Oria and more. They are not connected to the printers. If needed, articles can be transfered to memory sticks or be sent to an e-mail.

Borrowing and returns are registrered at the lending machines. Reserved books can be collected in the self-service pick-up shelf.
