High North Center

The High North Center for Business and Governance​ is an international center for research, education and communication, connected to societal and business development in the Arctic. Established in 2007, the High North Center works closely together with companies, government bodies and other stakeholders to develop knowledge, competence and awareness about the potential for innovation and sustainable value creation in the Arctic.​

CHNL promotes economically and environmentally sustainable, reliable and innovative transport and logistics solutions in the High North. The centre contributes with research and development, educational programmes and dissemination of research results, advisory activity and information sharing for and together with businesses, public authorities, NGOs and other stakeholders.

The Centre for Industrial Business Development is a research centre that focuses on issues at the intersection between industry, business development and innovation. The main focus is on research and innovation projects that are relevant for Norwegian industry in general and Nordland county in particular. The centre is located in Mo i Rana.
