Centre for Ecological Economics and Ethics

The Centre for Ecological Economics and Ethics focuses on issues that lie at the intersection between economics, nature, and culture.

The centre is a co-location of academic staff and PhD students at the Nord University Business School who work on issues concerning the environmental and social responsibility of companies.

In addition to prioritising the publication of research in recognised Norwegian and international journals and publications, we give high priority to developing updated and forward-looking courses in all our study programmes at the business school.

To further develop contact with universities and business schools, both domestic and foreign, we actively participate in a number of different networks. The close cooperation with businesses and public management provides impulses towards continuous professional development at the centre. An important element in the cooperation is the staff's participation and contribution at external seminars and conferences in the form of lectures.
