NoRuC: Global partnership - program in International Governance and Business

The project aims at  developing and strengthening a partnership program in International Governance and Business, as part of the Master of Science in Global Management in cooperation between Nord University and its global institutional partners.

Project summary

The project focuses on the handling of the institutional and practical challenges in such international education cooperation, the learning process in this global setting as well as how to build analytical and research competencies of master students from Norway,  China, Canada, and the US.

The project also aims to enhance the research dimension of the existing educational cooperation between partner institutions regarding the joint preparation and supervision of master thesis in international governance and business.

During the master thesis research process, the students will develop new knowledge on opportunities and challenges in the context of global business and governance with relevance to sustainable development, energy transition, and international relations.

The strengthened cooperation between the institutions in the project period will contribute to a solid basis for further collaboration in the field of education and research. This secures that new insights and skills are being developed within global management, international governance and business, sustainability and the development of regional and local solutions to global problems and challenges.

This is central to change and development within sustainable blue and green value creation, and is relevant actors across sectors, cultures, and countries. The dissemination of the research findings will be communicated to relevant users through a diversity of mediums, by published master theses, young researchers series, publications in the professional media, and research.
